Lucid Nonsense

(of a fruit or plant) containing much pith.
A to-do list of what needs doing on the site:
- Get the RSS feed working. I don’t use RSS myself, hence it not being in place. The “new entry” feature in Safari 4 is changing my mind on implementing that however, as it’s quite neat.
- Explain a bit about the back end of the site, as it’s quite interesting and based on Movable Type, something which is in itself, quite interesting.
- Finish writing the Snow Leopard page. This is surprisingly hard as because we’re paying ADC (Apple Developer Connection) members, I have to be really careful about accidentally breaking our NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement). This is ironic because non-ADC members, who are not supposed to have access to Snow Leopard, can actually talk more freely about it.
- Write the widgets page and a bit of an explanation. There is a reason for the lack of updates and I’m not sure about where to go with that. Sadly we got prodded for copyright issues by National Rail a few years ago. More on that later.
- Get around to asking people if we can use them for the Testimonials page!
I’ve also got some more blog pieces lined up, the next big one is a bit of a retrospective over Leopard (compared to previous releases it seems clear that as far as Apple is concerned Leopard is already over). That will lead on to a second piece about Snow Leopard which I intend to do that more of a “why is it important” rather than specific “secret” details that could invoke some of the scarily large numbers written into our ADC agreement.
