I’ve watched F1 since back when Senna and Mansell were duelling it out but something is really starting to get on my nerves: F1 people, drivers and team personnel, use the phrase “for sure” constantly. It never used to be this obvious but you can’t escape it this year.

Seriously, check the interviews before and after this weekend’s Shanghai Grand Prix, it’s turning into an unusual form of motorsport punctuation.

Weird.
