rsync 3.0.6 Binary Installer

Update - A new download for a binary version of rsync 3.0.6 is now available below. The previous version is still available for those who need 3.0.5. The release news for this update, which lists bug fixes and changes, is available here on the rsync website.

rsync is a powerful and popular open source command line file transfer application with a wide array of features. Often used as a backup or synchronisation tool rsync can transfer files to a remote machine or between local folders or disks. There is no built-in graphical interface for rsync. rsync is released under the GNU General Public License. More details can be found at the rsync site.

You can download a binary installer for rsync 3.0.6 below. This installer was created with a binary of rsync compiled for Intel Leopard Macs. This installer will not replace the default version of rsync and this version should be called with the full path of /usr/local/bin/rsync. This package installer is provided for free with absolutely no warranty and you should carefully read the rsync documentation available from the rsync site before using rsync.
